UMM SENEGAL MISSION IS INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOI.LOWING POSITION: TRAVEL ASSISTANT

Position open to ail Senegalese nationals and tisse eligible for permanent residence and authorization to work in Senegal.

BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:
This position is located in the Executive Office (EXO) of USAID/Senegal. Under the direct supervision of the Travel Assistant (F5N-9), this position is designed to provide a full range of travel and administrative services required to support USAID/Senegal and field offices in Burkina Faso, Chad, Mauritania, and Niger. USAIO/Senegal also bouses the regional offices for the US. Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) and Food for Peace (FFP). The incumbent provides travel administration services for more Chan 225 employees to inciude US Direct Hires (USDHs), US Personal Services Contractors (USPSCs), Third Country Nationals (TCNs), and COoperating Country Nationals (CCNs).

The incumbent provides the full range of international and local air travel services and hatel/conferencing requit’ errients for USAID/Senegal and its régional client missions. Vile prepares Travel AuthOrizatkins; inclependently perforrns the fuK range of work associated with travel documents; receives notice of incorning or outgoing travelees and facilitates their movements as required; ensures that employees are well informed on aU matters related to officiai travel; and provides guidance to the traveler and mission management on travel rides and regulations.
