Summary:
The work schedule for this position is:  Part-time intermittent (irregular – WAE – When Actually Employed).
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (4 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or his/her candidacy may end.

Duties
Basic Function of the Position –  Reports to the Human Resources (HR) Office and provides roving, temporary clerical and/or functional assistance to the Management section, and also to offices/sections within the Mission.  As needed, escorts non-cleared personnel and outside contractors into Controlled Access Areas (CAA) and/or non-CAA for the performance of their duties. Top Secret is required for this position.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:  One year clerical experience is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:  Must be familiar with USG regulations and security procedures.  A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Education Requirements:
US High School diploma is required.
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE:  Level IV English fluency (written and spoken) is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  Basic keyboard skills and computer literacy.  These may be tested.  Ability to remain alert at all times and uses judgment in reporting questionable or suspicious activity is required.  Ability to work a flexible schedule, often at short notice is required.  Well-developed interpersonal skills are required.

The certification letter should be on letterhead of the appropriate military branch of the service and contain (1) the military service dates including the expected discharge or release date; and (2) the character of service.  Acceptable documentation must be submitted in order for the preference to be given.
