The Communities Foundation of Texas is pleased to announce the Aventiv Technologies Community Impact Fund to reduce recidivism rates for individuals who are currently, or have been previously, incarcerated.

Priorities

Aventiv Technologies Community Impact Fund will prioritize grant funding to organizations that:

Have a primary focus on and demonstrated experience with serving incarcerated or formerly incarcerated individuals
Proven track record of success reducing recidivism rates for the target population (when compared to national recidivism rates for the target population)
Potential for sustained impact due to record of sound fiscal management and diversified revenue streams
Demonstrated commitment to recruiting diverse staff and board members that reflect the target population
Funding Information

The average grant award amount will be between $ 25,000 and $ 50,000.
Eligibility Criteria

This opportunity is currently open to public charities operating in Alabama, Florida, Indiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, or New York that have been in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service for the last two years.
Grant funding may not be used for outsourced activities or for programs focused on evangelism (though faith-based organizations are encouraged to apply).
