The Greater Manhattan Community Foundation in Manhattan, Kansas has established the 2020 COVID-19 Recovery Fund to accept donations from individuals and businesses to help with recovery efforts.
1000 new grants and donors
Access to these funds by area 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations, churches, or government agencies who are helping address critical needs as a result of the coronaviris in the community Funding available will be dependant on the amount that is donated by individuals and businesses.

Funding Parameters
These grants are for the most basic human needs as a result of COVID-19
Funds to benefit Manhattan and Riley County residents that are most in need as a result of COVID-19 (for example; low-income, elderly, mental health patients, individuals experiencing difficulty paying bills as a result of COVID-19)
Could benefit Manhattan/Riley County area non-profits by supplying their needs (supplies needed as a result of COVID-19 in order for them to carry out their work and assist clients)
This fund will not pay salaries for employees of the non-profits
Funding will not be granted to agencies outside of the Riley County Kansas area
