United States: Aviation Education Grant Program
Deadline: 31-May-22
The Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission (OAC) is seeking applications for its Aviation Education Grant Program that aims to address the skills gap and connect students to programs that will help build Oklahoma’s aerospace and aviation workforce.
Grants are for education programs that are aviation and aerospace minded for primary through post-secondary education.
The program funds are part of more than $335,000 the agency annually provides to programs statewide aimed at exposing more Oklahoma young people to STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) and careers in the aviation and aerospace industry.
Selection Process
The grant application asks that you list your program goals and objectives and that you explain how your program will have a direct application to aerospace/aviation.
It is important that you SPECIFICALLY outline the goals of your program and that you clearly express which aeronautics/aviation skills students/participants will gain by participating in the program.
Often, grant applications are not selected because applicants only provide a general statement as to the overall value of the program.
