For every child, a ChampionUNICEF Chad based in Mongo, is looking for a Driver, at the G-2 level, who provides reliable and safe driving services, demonstrating the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, integrity, sense of responsibility, excellent knowledge of protocol whilst ensuring compliance with local driving rules and regulations. The Driver demonstrates a client-oriented approach, high sense of responsibility, courtesy, tact and the ability to work with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.

How can you make a difference?
Principales taches : Sous la supervision directe de l’Assistant Administratif, les chauffeurs exécuteront les tâches suivantes :Conduire les véhicules du bureau pour le déplacement officiel des personnes autorisées, la distribution ainsi que la collecte du courrier, documents et autres articles      Etre responsable de l’entretien quotidien du véhicule qui lui est assigné, vérifier l’huile, l’eau, la batterie, les freins, les pneus, etc. ; faire les réparations mineures et prendre les dispositions nécessaires pour les autres pannes. Maintenir le véhicule dans un état de propreté.Tenir le carnet de bord du véhicule et enregistrer tous les déplacements officiels, le kilométrage journalier, la consommation de carburant, la vidange et le graissage, etc.S’assurer que toutes les dispositions légales sont prises en cas d’accident.Exécuter d’autres tâches relatives selon la demande.
Ce travail de Chauffeur requiert la disponibilité et des capacités de suivi régulier. A cet effet, le candidat devra:Avoir au minimum le niveau d’étude secondaire sanctionné par le BEPCT ;Avoir un certificate/un diplôme d’une Auto-Ecole;Etre titulaire d’un permis de conduire valide de toutes catégories (A et B) ;Avoir au minimum deux (2) années d’expérience en conduite ;Etre de bonne moralité et discret;Etre capable de faire des réparations mineures ;Savoir écrire et parler le français et arabe la connaissance de l’Anglais serait un atout.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
Education: A secondary education is required, along with a valid driver’s license and knowledge of local driving rules and regulations.
Experience: A minimum of two years of work experience as a driver in an international organization, embassy or UN system with a safe driving record is required.
Language Requirements: Fluency of the local language of the duty station as well as proficiency in French is required.
