Purpose for the job

Under the general supervision and leadership of the Fundraising Officer (Retention), the Data Base Assistant (Retention) will be in charge of having a database management system in place, ready to support Fundraising (FR) operation and marketing campaigns in a cost-efficient way. This position will execute the retention strategy following the guidance from the Fundraising Officer.

Key functions, accountabilities and related duties/tasks

Exhaustive donor database reporting system periodically updated to support timely decision making and to contribute with the preparation of the Workplan:

  1. Contribute to the preparation of the Direct Marketing Strategy and Work plan by generating accurate and timely data and reports from the different donor database systems.
  2. Develop and manage donor database reporting system to gather individual and corporate fundraising.
  3. Timely and thoroughly update the donor database reporting system to support informed decision making on different PFP aspects related with donors and supporters.

Effectively and timely database uploading and maintenance:

  1. Generate information, mainly from the donor database reporting system and other internal records, to assist in the preparation of reports to be used for strategy planning and work plan process.

Database security:

  1. Under the supervision of the Fundraising Officer maintain, security and confidentiality procedures, directives and instructions for management and access of the donor database reporting system, in concordance with the organization guidelines and regulations.

 

Support to the retention plan:

  1. Execute the retention strategy, following the guidance related to generating information, mainly from the donor database reporting system and other internal records, to assist in the preparation of reports to be used for strategy planning and work plan process.
  2. Support the Fundraising Officer (NOA) in generating other actions inside the pledge channel. (Building capacity with provider’s team).

RECRUITMENT QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Completion of secondary education supplemented with courses in database, administration and/or marketing analysis.

Experience:  A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in database, marketing and/or sales of which 2 are in fundraising.

Knowledge in pledge (individual donors) is an asset.

Language: Fluency in Spanish and English is required
