Increase sales of rock tools by performing on site trials and by being a reference point inside the organization

RESPONSIBILITIES
Promoting and introducing Sandvik rock tools into BIA territories;
Organizing and monitoring Sandvik rock tools trial in order to provide reports and KPI analysis;
Auditing and reporting parameters related to drilling operations and advicing end users, when needed, about right practices of drilling;
Advicing and training end users on hammers rebuilding as well as on grinding methods;
Collecting as much information as possible about the customer and competitors active in the territory;
Providing technical assistance for tender deposit and provide support for contracts negotiation;
Carrying- out detailed visit reports and updating client files;
Coordinating the schedule of visits with the personnel of the Parts and other departments (Sales and Services);
Developing technical knowledge of the products inside the organization and training BIA sales representatives;
Developing a long-term professional relationship of trust with the customers of the territory, with a view to a service at the forefront and quality.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Excellent knowledge of TH-DTH-Rotary tools into various applications
Good knowledge of drilling processes in surface and underground operations

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Higher education in Mechanics or equivalent in experience
Min.6 years valuable experience in rock tools business, preferably within Sandvik
French and English (fluent in both)

Job localization:

Dakar but willing to travel at least 60% of the time
