| Description de l’offre As a PMI Evolve MEL Database Manager, you will be responsible for managing and implementing monitoring, evaluation and learning functions. You will play an important role in ensuring the project has high quality data within our MEL systems to measure our progress towards intended results and informing evidence-driven decisions. You are part of our MEL team and support efforts to ensure our program staff and key stakeholders have access to the data they need, when they need it.Core Responsibilities • Work closely with the MEL Specialist/Manager to provide input on data collection forms, MEL project activity timelines, routine data quality audits, data analysis, and report writing. • As requested, pull data from the project database for timely review and reporting purposes. • Provide device specifications and quantities for all necessary IT materials, such as laptops and phones, for vector control (VC) campaigns. • Develop database training materials for various audiences, including seasonal data entry personnel, PMI Evolve project staff, and external stakeholders, such as National Malaria Control Program and PMI Mission staff. This includes training temporary VC staff on appropriate methods of data collection, entry, reporting, and quality. • Supervise seasonal staff for VC interventions on data entry and cleaning efforts. • Identify and provide documentation requirements for DHIS2 database maintenance and updates. • Design, review and test M&E tools for reporting formats and data collection. These can include mobile-based tools, digitally-enumerated satellite images or atlases, and other innovations to data collection, data quality, data entry, and data reporting. • As needed, coordinate with the Entomology team on data collection and analyses. • Provide final, clean data for reporting after all VC interventions. • Foster an environment that values data for decision making purposes. • The position requires frequent travel to VC implementing districts and field sites for routine monitoring, program supervision, and support and frequent communication with site and home office staff to report on VC campaign progress.What We Value Minimum requirement Bachelor’s Degree + 2 year experience or master degree with zero experience .Preferred requirement • At least one year of relevant work experience includes database management, monitoring & evaluation, or other relevant social science activities. • Experience with DHIS2 required. • Supervision experience preferred. • Experience with mobile platforms (ODK, CommCare, KoboCollect, EpiInfo, Fulcrum, etc.), mobile data collection, GIS applications, • GPS measurement data collection, and/or Tableau desirable. • Experience and familiarity with PMI program monitoring and evaluation, and performance monitoring preferred. • Strong analytic and quantitative database management, budgeting and report writing skills. • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and work well in a team setting. • English language fluency. | |
