U.S. Embassy Finland supports a variety of projects through its Small Grants Program, which is designed to support non-profit organizations in the implementation of programs advancing U.S.-Finnish relations.

Themes

The U.S. Embassy in Finland is particularly, but not exclusively, interested in proposals focused on the following themes:

Countering malign influence and increasing resilience to hybrid threats
Promoting human rights
Increasing cooperation between Arctic states and communities.
Increasing collaboration and exchange between American and Finnish students and teachers
Empowering youth and engaging diverse Finnish populations
Increasing interest in entrepreneurism and STEM/STEAM among youth
Funding Information

Funding ranging from $2,000 to $20,000 will be considered.

Eligibility Criteria

Grants are awarded to non-profit organizations and institutions focusing on Finnish audiences.
Organizations are limited to one proposal.
Project proposals must be submitted in English, budgeted to U.S. dollar amounts.
