The Arts Commission is proud to announce a partnership with the City of Toledo and the Lucas County Board of Commissioners to launch Toledo and Lucas County Arts Relief Grant Program. The Arts Commission strives to provide this funding opportunity in an inclusive and accessible manner.

The Arts Commission’s Toledo and Lucas County Arts Relief Grant program offers financial support for local artists whose creative work has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The goal of this program is to provide economic relief to artists and organizations whose ability to earn income has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and who have not been able to access CARES Act or other relief efforts.

Who is eligible?

Individual artists with a residence or a creative studio within the City of Toledo or Lucas County
Note: Artists who are part of an artist collective must apply individually.
Artists who can demonstrate a sustained commitment to their practice and a public audience
Artists who have suffered financially due to the pandemic
