The7Stars Foundation is now inviting applications for its Grant Program.

the7stars foundation, established by the7stars, supports the most challenged young people in the United Kingdom. Assisting forgotten young people aged 16 years and under, lacking opportunity, to achieve their potential.

Project grants awarded up to £2,500.
Grant Funding Streams

Project grants to charities aligned to the funding priorities and age range.
Shine Bright funding for regional charities during the Covid-19 pandemic. Funding enables charities to purchase wellbeing, emotional and mental health support items or educational, creative resources for the young people they support to promote happiness in a time of worry and anxiety. (Beneficiaries are selected and items are purchased/distributed by the charity partner.)
Direct grants funding to individuals affected by the themes they priorities, supported by outreach/social/care workers or legal professionals. (Applications must be submitted by the supporting professional.)
Star Start funding to tackle child food poverty escalated by the Covid-19 pandemic. They support breakfast clubs for young people aged 16 years and under, living in urban cities within the UK. Please note, for 2022 the Star Start funding will be directed to London.
Criteria

Project Funding
To organizations with a turnover of under £1.5M.
Supporting young people aged 16 years and under.
Projects enabling young people to have the best start in life- to reach for the stars.
Projects which have a direct impact and respond to a need in an immediate manner.
Projects hosted in geographical areas of deprivation and socioeconomic disadvantage.
Projects which respond to (one of the/multiple) funding priorities of the7stars foundation (Abuse; Addiction; Homelessness; Child Carers).
Projects which address a lack of provision (due to a lack of funding from alternative sources).
Projects which provide immediate support not just in the short-term but with long-term benefits too.
Regarding projects for Child Carers, preference will be given to projects offering long-term impact and/or sustainable support (such as mentoring or outreach programs) over recreational trips.
Shine Bright Funding
The Shine Bright fund partners with regional charities and the partner Coram Chambers to administer grants directly to the most vulnerable young people in the UK aged 16 years and under.
Grants are to provide relief, respite, and happiness at a time of anxiety and worry. The grants are awarded to the regional charity partners to purchase educational and art materials; toys; books; and emotional support items for young people aged 16 and under who have been challenged by abuse; addiction; homelessness; or those who are child carers.
Please note, They are only able to fund charitable organizations with a turnover below £1.5m.
Star Start Funding
Grants to breakfast clubs are awarded between £1,000-£1,500.00 per partner.
Applicant organizations must be based in London for submissions in 2022.
Applicant organizations must have a turnover of below £500,000.
Direct Funding
Please note this application must be submitted by an outreach/social/care worker or legal professional, on behalf of the young person (aged 16 or under).
Grants will be paid to the referee and the referee is responsible for ensuring the funds are directed in line with the approved purpose below. Submission of expenditure receipts and a grant report are required following the grant award.
