Job description
The incumbent leads a workforce of 15 truck driver/warehousemen and performs unskilled manual labor for the warehouse. He carries out tasks accurately, efficiently, and honestly, while maintaining excellent General Service Office customer service standards. He protects against waste and fraud, and immediately reports to supervisor and/or General Service Officer any suspected incidences.
Job requirements
- Experience: 2 years warehouseman experience is required.
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
Language
- Level II (Limited Knowledge) speaking/writing of English is required. (This may be tested)
- Level III (Good Working Knowledge) reading/speaking/writing of French is required. (This may be tested)
Skills and abilities
- Must have local driver’s license. Must be capable of performing arduous physical work. Must be able to complete tasks according to instructions given by the supervisor.
Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Dakar, Senegal may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.
