DESCRIPTION DU PROGRAMME
The purpose of the program is to send Japanese students to foreign universities for bringing them up into international and outstanding individuals. JASSO offers scholarships to who aims to obtain master’s or doctoral degree programs outside Japan. Applicants needs to be recommended by Japanese universities.
MONTANT/PRESTATIONS
Scholarship : a monthly allowance of 93,000 JPY ～ 156,000 JPY（depends on region/country）.
Tuition : actual expense that each university charges for tuition (there is an upper limit).
DURÉE
Master Course ： Within 2 years.
Doctoral Course ： 3 years in principle.
NOMBRE DE BOURSES
Decided depends upon fiscal 2012 budget (108 new grants expected).

MAÎTRISE DE LA LANGUE
Degree courses operated in English : TOEFL (PBT 600, CBT 250, iBT 100) or IELTS 7.0(Academic Module)
Others : language skill or ability that each university demands
CONDITIONS SUPPLÉMENTAIRES
Japanese citizen or a person who has a permanent residency of Japan
