Procurement Manager

Background:
Role: The Procurement Manager:

The Procurement Manager will be accountable for evaluating, qualifying, and selecting suppliers for the external of all products and services:

1) Direct Procurement: to be delivered to Customers as part of or as a Synchubs’ product or service and
2) Indirect Procurement: for internal use within SynchubsHVSS.

He/ She will be responsible for all commercial relationships with suppliers and hence should have solid knowledge in procurement, contracting principles, supply management, be familiar with the relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, and understanding of the standard contractual terms and conditions to mitigate legal risk.

Skills in strategic mind sent and problem-solving skills, change management, excellent communication skills, a team player competent IT skills, and ability to work in a multicultural environment.

You will
• Provide program and organizational procurement needs
• Lead, prepare & execute the RFx process
• Evaluate and select suppliers
• Conduct supplier negotiation
• Prepare and/or review various contractual modalities (master agreements, grants, consulting and service contracts, leases, purchase orders, MoU’s, NDA, and other types of agreements)
• Ensure supplier agreement implementation
• Contribute to the long term business
• Provide procurement support and guidance to International business units
• Support project management in the implementation

Requirement
• Qualified professional with at least 7 years commercial experience of which 5 years of professional sourcing/commercial has been the majority
• 3 years of managerial experience and remote management skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in the field of business, finance, legal or management
• Min years of experience: 7 years of commercial experience of which professional sourcing has been key
• Domain experience: Indirect Sourcing experience – Travels, HR, Cars, Real Estate & Facility Management, Professional Support Services, Marketing and Communications, etc Sourcing Sourcing Practice, Process & Strategy Knowledge
• Change & Improvement Management Skills
• Commercial Acumen & Skills
• Financial Acumen & Skills
• Local Laws & Regulations Knowledge

Additional Requirement
• Fluent in French and English is a key requirement for this job
• Negotiation skills
• Leadership Competence
