The Lincolnshire Community Foundation is accepting submissions for the High Sheriffs’ Fund Programme to assist projects that promote a safer society and help reduce crime in Lincolnshire.
Theme
- The Object of the Fund is to assist projects that promote a safer society and help reduce crime in Lincolnshire.
- Crime reduction: Funds can be used for young people (diversionary activities, projects that raise aspirations or reduce isolation); intergenerational activities (reduce fear of crime, promote community cohesion); activities for older people that tackle isolation and loneliness (resident groups, clubs societies).
Funding Information
- They aim to distribute around £15,000 a year
- Grant Size: Up to £5,000
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible groups are:
- Voluntary or Community organisations in Lincolnshire (not including North and North East Lincolnshire). Not statutory agencies.
- Priority is given to locally run and managed. They are unlikely to fund organisations that are local branches/organisations of a larger regional or national organisation, unless they can evidence local need and engagement.
- They can Fund:
- They can fund local projects that encourage and/or assist those included in the target group.
- They can provide funding to cover running costs, equipment, travel, venue hire, telephone, stationery, refreshments, volunteer training and activities that meet an identified need.
- Whatever they fund must benefit your local community.
Ineligibility Criteria
- They can’t fund:
- Political or predominantly religious activities
- Statutory provision
- Animal welfare
- General contributions to large appeals Building work
