Job Description
Summary of the position:  The Programme Administrator is appointed to the Building Rural Income Through Inclusive Dairy Business Growth, (BRIDGE) project, to facilitate and provide administrative support to the project. The administrator is based in the Addis Ababa office and is part of the national team based there.

The purpose of this role is to ensure that the relevant administrative processes are in place and are adhered to, that are necessary for a smooth implementation of the BRIDGE project activities. The Programme Administrator therefore plays a key role, in linking the project implementation team to the support services (HR, Finance, Procurement, Logistics). There are two linking roles:
Linking the national team to the support services, i.e. playing a pro-active role in submitting relevant documentation to the SNV support services and making a follow-up that the conditions are in place for the services to be delivered. Linking the cluster teams to the support services, i.e. ensuring that cluster teams are able to adhere to corporate standards and are fully connected to the support services. Although the role requires familiarity with various support services, there is a bias towards financial and administrative contractual procedures. Of particular relevance are support and monitoring of Grant Agreements, Partnership Agreements and consultancy contracts (both local and external).
The position requires both conceptual (e.g. design of systems) as well as operational (hands on preparing of documents and follow-up on a day-to-day basis with the support services) competences.
