Scholarship open to wounded warriors, spouses and caregivers 2016, USA
Starting April 1, wounded warriors, their spouses and caregivers can apply for a full-tuition scholarship to Colorado Technical University.
The university created the Wounded Warrior Scholarship in 2008 with the Yellow Ribbon Fund to give higher-education opportunities to men and women injured while serving in the U.S. military, including the Reserve, National Guard and Coast Guard.
The application is available online at http://coloradotech.edu/ww beginning April 1. The application process includes short-answer questions and an essay, and a letter of recommendation is required.
Like all CTU military students, scholarship recipients can study online or at one of the campuses in Colorado Springs or Aurora.A All degree programs are included, for an associate, bachelor, master or doctoral degree.
Winners will also receive a free laptop and textbooks.
Applications for the 2017 scholarships will be accepted through July 31, 2016. Recipients will be announced on Veterans Day, Nov. 11 for classes that begin in 2017.
