Safe Restart Program Funding in Canada

The City of Swift Current is pleased to announce Safe Restart Program Funding that aims to provide funds to City of Swift Current-based, non-profit and volunteer-based organizations who aim to provide programs and services that support Economic, Social and Cultural Development, Justice and Health Initiatives, Senior and Youth programming or Community Sport, Culture or Recreation-based Infrastructure Development and Maintenance in our communities.
Funding Information
Community funding in the amount of $93,900.00 is available based on the Safe Restart funding provided to the City of Swift Current thanks to the Federal funding program allocated to Saskatchewan Municipalities.
The purpose of these funds is intended to be used to continue to put in place precautionary measures to minimize the impact of COVID-19.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be a City of Swift Current, non-profit organization providing a benefit to one of the 7 project categories.
Private individuals, specific teams or groups within an existing organization are not eligible for funding (such as local AAA hockey or baseball club).
Organizations who have already received Safe Restart Program Funding are not eligible to apply.
Programs/projects that already received grant funding from the City of Swift Current Saskatchewan Lotteries may not be deemed eligible for this funding. Please consult before applying.
Organizations must have appropriate insurance (both liability and participant) for any endeavors funded through this grant. Proof of insurance must be included with application.
Any project, program or event must be designed and operated on a non-profit basis.
Projects, programs or events for consideration should not duplicate existing services.
City of Swift Current must be publicly acknowledged by any organization receiving a grant during their promotion or acknowledgement of their activities.
