Are you a reporter who wants to dig deeper? Who teams up with others to explore a story from various perspectives? Who feels that complex research doesn’t stop at borders? Then apply for the grant “Reporters in the Field”.
The program “Reporters in the Field” supports cross-border stories by media professionals from all over Europe. It offers grants of up to 8,000€ to international teams who want to realize a cross-border and in-depth investigation on a story of their choice. Selected teams will receive funding, and participate in a peer-learning workshop.
Reporters in the Field is a program by the Robert Bosch Stiftung hosted together with the media network n-ost.
Eligibility Criteria
- International teams with professional freelance or staff journalists who work for established media outlets (no matter if print, photo, broadcast, web, or cross-media) are eligible. No age limit applies.
- Applicants’ team and story must be based mostly in at least two of the following countries: Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and United Kingdom.
