The City of Prijedor in partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has announced the Public invitation to civil society organizations (CSOs)/ Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) for submission of project proposals within the project regional program of local democracy in the Western Balkans (ReLOa).

ReLOaD2 is a regional project funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in six countries / territories of the Western Balkans: Albania, the Republic of Northern Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo and Serbia.

The overall goal of the project is to strengthen participatory democracy and EU integration in the Western Balkans, by strengthening civil society and encouraging young people to actively participate in the decision-making process, and improving a supportive legal and financial environment for civil society.

The specific objective of the project is to strengthen partnerships between local authorities and civil society in the Western Balkans, by spreading a successful model of transparent project financing of CSOs (LOD methodology) from local government budgets, aimed at greater civic participation and youth participation in decision-making and service delivery. in local communities.

Priority Areas
This is an opportunity to invite all civil society organizations (CSOs) from Bosnia and Herzegovina to submit project proposals related to the development goals of the city, which are listed in the document Integrated Strategy of the City of Prijedor for the period 2014-2024. years, from the following priority areas:

Culture
Improving the quality and accessibility of cultural content for all categories of the population through the promotion of various types of culture, art, cultural and artistic amateurism and volunteerism;
Sport
Improving the quality and availability of sports and recreational facilities for all categories of the population through the promotion and improvement of sports,
Promotion of sports facilities for people with disabilities and people with disabilities,
Promotion, popularization and popularization of amateur sports;
Support to young people
Support to the improvement of the position of young people through the organization of trainings / workshops / workshops for the purpose of their social and economic inclusion,
Providing professional assistance, support for children and youth at risk of unwanted behavior, improving the mental health of children and youth during and after the pandemic (counseling, psychosocial assistance, the impact of social networks on youth, prevention of child and youth addiction, etc.),
Improving healthy lifestyles and activities for quality leisure time;
Social protection and inclusion
Providing assistance to the elderly and infirm in a state of social need and improving the quality of life of the elderly,
Support and assistance to persons who are victims of domestic violence,
Assistance and care for adults with intellectual disabilities,
Help and support for children and youth in risky behavior,
Providing support to people with disabilities through the introduction of new technologies and method;
Ecology and environmental protection
Improving environmental protection,
Rehabilitation of illegal landfills,
Protection of watercourses from waste;
Response to the COVID-19 pandemic
Projects that provide assistance to the population in a pandemic;
Funding Information
The value of the project proposals to be awarded under this call must be between the following minimum and maximum amount:
minimum amount: 10,000.00 KM
maximum amount: 70,000.00 KM
One civil society organization may submit several project proposals within one or more public calls, with the maximum amount of funds that can be allocated for project implementation to one civil society organization during the total duration of the ReLOaD2 project 120,000.00 KM.
Eligibility Criteria
Participation in this public call is open, on an equal basis, to all formally registered CSOs (associations or foundations), in accordance with the applicable legislation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
To apply for the public call, applicants must:
be formally registered CSOs in accordance with applicable legislation (association or foundation);
Potential applicants cannot participate in the call or receive grants if they do not submit a signed and scanned eligibility statement with the project proposal.
This public call is not open to branches of foreign and international associations, foundations and other non-profit organizations registered and operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Applicants will be excluded from participating in the call or from the award of grants if at the time of the call for proposals:
subjects of conflict of interest;
is guilty of misrepresentation in supplying the information required by the contracting authority as a precondition for participation in a call for proposals or for failure to supply the required information;
try to obtain confidential information, influence the evaluation committee or the contracting authority during the evaluation process of the call for proposals.
