The Public Affairs Section (PAS) at the U.S. Consulate General in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is pleased to announce a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) through its Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program to strengthen cultural, educational, professional, and scientific ties between the United States and Saudi Arabia.

The grants will support projects that highlight shared values, strengthen people-to-people ties, and promote bilateral cooperation.

Goals and Objectives
Strengthen Cultural and Educational Ties: Programs should foster relationships between U.S. and Saudi institutions, promote English language learning, and support cultural exchanges.
Promote Economic Empowerment and Entrepreneurship: Initiatives should focus on economic development, entrepreneurship, and inclusion, particularly for women and youth.
Preserve Cultural Heritage: Projects should aim to conserve cultural heritage using innovative technologies.
Enhance Media Literacy and Counter Misinformation: Programs should improve media literacy and critical thinking, supporting Saudi media in countering misinformation.
Support the Saudi Film Industry: Initiatives should provide training in filmmaking, fostering collaboration between Saudi and U.S. filmmakers.
Priority Program Areas
Grant proposals should address at least one of the four Public Affairs priority areas outlined below:Education

Funding Information
Grant Amounts: $10,000 to $50,000
Duration
Performance Period: 9-18 months.
Target Audience
Youth (14-35 years old)
First-generation university students
Alumni of U.S. government-funded exchange programs
Women and disabled persons
Minority or geographically marginalized groups
Educators, media practitioners, policy makers, civil society organizations, and entrepreneurs
Eligibility Criteria
The following organizations are eligible to applyNot-for-profit organizations, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations
Non-profit or governmental educational institutions
Governmental institutions
Individuals may also apply (be considered on a case-by-case basis
Ineligibility Criteria
The following types of programs are not eligible for funding:Programs relating to partisan political activity;
Charitable or development activities;
Construction programs;
Programs that support specific religious activities;
Fund-raising campaigns;
Lobbying for specific legislation or programs;
Scientific research.
