The Pride Events and Festivals Fund (PEFF) 2020-21 connection and accessibility grants will support the delivery of online, accessible LGBTIQ+ events and activities to stay connected and address social isolation.

Seed Grants
The program funds activities across Victoria that promote LGBTIQ+ arts and culture, celebrate the diversity in LGBTIQ+ communities, and raises awareness to combat LGBTIQ+ discrimination.

The PEFF 2020-21 Connection and Accessibility Grants program will support the delivery of online, accessible LGBTIQ+ events and activities to address the challenges of social isolation and provide opportunities for Victorians to continue to learn and grow.

Objectives

Activities funded through the program must align with one or more of the following program objectives:

To strengthen LGBTIQ+ community pride, places, and heritage;
To recognize and support marginalized or isolated people or communities;
To celebrate and build community resilience and promote connection across diverse LGBTIQ+ communities;
To build a public profile, visibility, and understanding of LGBTIQ+ communities.
In addition, applicants are asked to consider the following principles in their applications:

Capacity for events to be delivered effectively online to enable broad engagement of LGBTIQ+ people in rural and regional Victoria, as well as Melbourne;
Accessibility considerations enabling full and meaningful engagement of LGBTIQ+ people with a disability in all planning and delivery stages of funded activities.
Funding Information

The total funding allocation available is $200,000.
Organizations may apply for up to a maximum of $10,000.
Principles

In addition, applicants are asked to consider the following principles in their applications:

Capacity for events to be delivered effectively online to enable broad engagement of LGBTIQ+ people in rural and regional Victoria, as well as Melbourne;
Accessibility considerations enabling full and meaningful engagement of LGBTIQ+ people with a disability in all planning and delivery stages of funded activities.
Eligibility Criteria

It is important that your organization meets the following eligibility criteria. You must be either:

A community, not-for-profit or peak community body based in Victoria that is an incorporated legal entity under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) or the Association;
Incorporation Reform Act 2001 (Vic) or a similar type of organization;
A social enterprise with a clearly stated purpose or mission-related specifically to supporting LGBTIQ+ communities.
And you must:

Have a current Australian Business Number (ABN);
Have at least $10 million Public Liability Insurance to cover all aspects of the Program or an auspice arrangement with this insurance cover;
Not have any overdue deliverables from other grants provided by the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
