TB 2018 which is an official pre-conference event of the 22nd International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2018) will take place on Sunday, 22 July 2018, at the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre. It is co-hosted by the International AIDS Society (IAS) in collaboration with the Stop TB Partnership and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

This will be an opportunity to highlight the key scientific challenges related to TB and TB/HIV research on prevention, diagnosis and treatment to set the stage for the UN General Assembly high-level meeting on TB. Under the theme, Bridging the TB and HIV Communities, TB 2018 will focus on cutting-edge research gaps to address concrete service delivery issues, translating science into practice.

In order to encourage participation from community and civil society representatives from low and middle-income countries, the TB 2018 organizers are delighted to support attendance through a dedicated scholarship programme. Eligible candidates are invited to submit their application through the online form by 18 May, 2018 as per the Selection Criteria.

All TB 2018 attendees must be registered for AIDS 2018 or have a pre-conference day pass. Attendance at the TB 2018 pre-conference will be on a first-come first-served basis, with no separate registration process. Individuals interested in attending are encouraged to sign up in order to receive updates on the meeting programme and location.

The conference is inviting applications ONLY from community and civil society representatives from low and middle income countries. People offered an AIDS 2018 Scholarship are NOT eligible to apply.
