Pink Armenia accepting Applications for ”Community and Awareness” Sub-Granting Competition (Armenia)

The Pink Armenia is seeking applications for a small sub-grant competition entitled ”Community and Awareness”. The project aims to promote or raise awareness on the human rights of LGBTQ people in Armenia through empowering and strengthening the capacities of the LGBTQ community.

1000 new grants and donors
“Pink” human rights defender non-governmental organization was founded in 2007. The organization is known to its beneficiaries and the public as Pink Armenia. Pink is a community-based LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) organization, which means the organization has been established by LGBT community, serves and supports the needs of the community, and promotes the LGBT persons’ human rights protection process and advocates for the change of public policy around LGBT issues.

Pink human rights defender non-governmental organization announces a call for a small sub-grant competition named “Community and awareness”. The maximum amount of the sub-grant is 1 million AMD (including taxes). Sub-grant projects must start on October 1st, and can last until November 30th (for a maximum period of 2 months).

Only LGBTQ community-based initiatives or LGBTQ oriented recently founded non-governmental organizations can apply.

Applicants are free to choose different formats of projects, they can use art, online seminars, educational, or other online events to achieve their goals. Preference will be given to the project that has partially or completely chosen the online format for the project.

Eligibility Criteria

Only LGBTQ community-based initiatives or LGBTQ oriented recently founded non-governmental organizations can apply.
Applicants are free to choose different formats of projects: they can use art, online seminars, educational, or other online events to achieve their goals. Preference will be given to the project that has partially or completely chosen the online format for the project.
Project proposals must comply with the decisions published by the Emergency Commandant of RA.
