Position title: FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT / CONTROLLER
Position reports to: Senior Manager / FINANCIAL MANAGER
Business Unit: FINANCE
Job Grade: C4/C5
Localization: DAKAR / Senegal
Main purpose / objective of the position:
To ensure that finance is seen as a value adding business partner (Business Tenants, property management and clients). Develop Finance’s influence in the making of business decisions. To oversee the financial processes and reporting to clients.

Missions / Tasks

Pro-active communication with clients
Statutory reporting
Handling of queries relating to the financial reporting
Budget management
Coordination including the establishment of deviations
Compilation, in conjunction with Business, of annual budgets
Reporting on deviations
Handling of queries
Budget Class rates – Compare tariffs against budgets, Identify tendencies, Updating of tariffs.
Take on & Hand overs of buildings
Monthly management meetings
Review of actuals
Management fees & Commissions
Legal Compliance / Review of GPS / Cash management
Provide Management information and reports
Provide ad hoc reports as required
Experience / Education:
Minimum BCom. with Accounting III or equivalent qualification and at least 2 years relevant working experience.

Skills required:
Computer literacy: SAP; NICOR / MDA ; MS Office – Advanced Excel, Intermediate Word and Outlook
Administration Skills; Time Management; Advanced Financial Calculations and reporting

Knowledge required:
Detailed knowledge of Policies and procedures; Capital expenditure; Legal aspects; Tax (including VAT); GAAP & IFRS
