PEPFAR Community Grants Program for Kenya (USD 15,000)

Deadline: 30-Sep-2024

The U.S. Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya and the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for Kenyan organizations to submit applications to carry out projects related to HIV.

Program Objectives

The PEPFAR Community Grants Program (PCGP) seeks to award grants to projects that implement innovative solutions that further PEPFAR’s commitment to reducing HIV infections and providing equitable, inclusive access to treatment in 40 PEPFAR supported counties in Kenya. They aim to achieve this by infusing new thinking and approaches into program designs that are responsive to community prevention and treatment needs, developing capacity for community engagement in democracy and governance to ultimately strengthen the national HIV response, and addressing stigma and discrimination impacting equitable access to comprehensive services for HIV affected populations. Targeted beneficiaries of proposed projects should include key and priority populations most impacted by HIV/AIDS. Examples include– but are not limited to–key populations (KPs), priority populations like adolescent girls and young women (AGYW), persons living with disabilities (PLWDs), people living with HIV (PLHIV), and orphans and vulnerable children (OVC).

Available grants will range from a minimum of USD. 6,000 to a maximum of USD. 15,000.

Project Criteria
