BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
Under the direction of the Head of Programme (HoP), and working closely with Deputy Country Director (DCD) as well as Activity Mangers, the Programme Policy Officer (PPO) for Changing Lives Reporting will be responsible for supporting the DCD, HoP, and Activity Managers with various programme documents, including fact sheets, donor proposals and reports, and concept notes, etc. focusing on “Changing Lives” activities, which includes resilience building, climate change adaptation, school feeding, social protection, stunting prevention, and capacity strengthening.
ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
 • Prepare donor facts sheets in collaboration with Partnerships and Communications units • Collect and compile documents highlighting changing lives programme achievements and beneficiary success stories • Undertake field missions to work with, document and highlight Changing Lives work in sub offices. • Support the drafting and review of programme documents, including donor proposals, reports, concept notes, letters, briefing documents, etc. to ensure high quality documents arrives to HoP’s desk for clearance. • Manage the preparation and dissemination of timely analytical and critical reports, publications, and a variety of information products or proposals for internal or external use. • Contribute to resources mobilisation efforts for WFP projects, including clearly articulating the need for food assistance and related programme opportunities. • Drafting/reviewing/editing programme correspondences as and when necessary • Support M&E unit in finalizing various annual planning and review documents, such as APP and programme unit workplan. • Any other duties in support of HoP’s work 
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:  
Education: Advanced University degree in International Affairs, Economics, Nutrition/Health, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Social Sciences or other field relevant to international development assistance, or First University Degree with additional years of related work experience and/or trainings/courses.
Experience:  Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in reporting, food assistance and resilience programme.
Languages: English and other UN languages.POSTULER
