Open Call: Community Food Grants (United Kingdom)

Cherwell District Council is pleased to announce the Community Food Grants to support organisations that are providing/assisting in the provision of food or developing community food activities involving cooking, growing or nutrition/food education which directly links to the delivery of the Cherwell Food Action Plan.
Funding Information
- They are offering grants of up to £2000 for capital/revenue to support communities in the Cherwell District.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be providing/assisting in the provision of food or developing community food activities involving cooking, growing or nutrition/food education for residents of Cherwell.
- The grant programme is open to not-for-profit organisations only. The grants are not available to individuals or for profit making commercial enterprises.
- The following categories of applicant are NOT eligible to apply:
- Individuals
- Private businesses
- Religious bodies where the monies will be used for religious purposes or religious buildings
- Political parties or political lobbying
- Applicant organisations must have a written constitution and bank account in the name of the organisation and provide audited accounts (where applicable).
