Off-Grid Africa recrute 01 Assistant Operations Manager
Off-Grid Europe/Off-Grid Africa are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team in Sangalkam, Senegal which is 40 minutes drive outside of Dakar.
We have a large contract to install 120 solar power systems, in the range of 15-45kW PV with battery storage, built inside shipping containers which we manufacture in Germany.
We make our own engineering, software and logistics and are very self contained as a company. We have ambitious expansion plans and are looking for someone to assist our Senegal CEO with our operational management. We are looking for exceptionally driven people who thrive in an independent, fast paced environment. We are strong believers in self development/self management and ability to solve problems effectively.
A successful applicant should have a track record of work in West Africa and strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems (you do not have to be a solar expert). We put great value in people’s ability to quickly learn new skills and be able to complete tasks beyond expectation. Speaking French and English fluently is a must.
Your job will consist of but not be exclusive to:
- Coordination between the German office and the Senegal office
- Technical supervision of installation works in villages across Senegal and other solar projects we will take on
- Meeting with potential business prospects and representing Off-Grid Europe/Off-Grid Africa professionally
- Ensuring international standard and quality is maintained for all work
- Assist with the setup of our R&D laboratory
- Recruitment
