| Description de l’offre Engineering Project Manager Off-Grid Africa Dakar, Sénégal Off-Grid Europe are looking for a Engineering project coordinator for our rural electrification project in Senegal to implement improvements, standardization and streamlining of our solar system installation project in Senegalese rural villages. A successful candidate has 10 years+ engineering project management experience in oil, gas, solar or other remotely and challenging environments, speaks fluent French, English and ideally some German but this is not essential. You will report direct to the Off-Grid Europe Head Office, working alongside our daughter company Off-Grid Africa SARL (team of 25 people), with the main aim to ensure that day-to-day operations are running beyond expected performance. Your position will require a great deal of autonomy, ability to cope with challenging remote and often harsh environments. You will implement and support an iteration management system, to interlink our R&D, manufacturing, logistics and installation processes, saving cost, improve quality and speed. About you; – A communicator with ability to understand complex problems and deliver solutions – An experienced international scale project manager – Engineer by trade, working by international standards – Track record of deployment of hundreds of complete projects – Strong understanding of HSE management with internaitonal standards as your goal – Proven ability to manage budgets, people, logistics, machines – Live in/move to Senegal and available to 100% immerse in our project – Experience with challenging, hot and very remote environments – Excellent reporting Off-Grid Europe is a small company in South Germany who manufacture Solar power systems for people across the world. We are dedicated to improving peoples lives, deliver carbon negative products and build a successful and scalable business. Off-Grid Europe do all electrical and engineering engineering in-house, we have our own metal workshop, distribution board assembly workshop and assemble our containers in-house. We manage our own logistics, installation and assembly on site in Senegal. We also program and manage our own software for system management.
