PURPOSE OF FUND

Award a scholarship to a Civil Law student entering his/her second year, who demonstrates academic excellence and teamwork.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must:

1. be registered as a full-time student in second year at the Faculty of Law, Civil Law Section, at the University of Ottawa;

2. demonstrate academic excellence by having completed his/her first year with a GPA of at least 8.0; and

3. demonstrate a sense of team spirit by working in partnership with students and professors alike within the Faculty.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES

Applications must be made through Online Scholarships and Bursaries, which can be accessed through www.uozone.uOttawa.ca, and should include a letter from the applicant on the topic of how his/her interactions with faculty and fellow students demonstrate his/her commitment to team spirit (maximum 300 words).
