We conceptualize, strategize, plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate advocacy campaigns that seek change in policies, behaviors, and practices.
The Director of Programs is responsible for the proper execution of all Niyel projects, from the design phase to completion, ensuring that deadlines, budgets, and quality are met.

Supervision of the Project execution department
– Ensure the management of the department
– Support the conceptual and operational implementation of projects in support of advocacy officers
– Ensure the adequacy between resources and needs (financial, technical, human)
– Facilitate assignments between the different projects
– Advise and coach advocacy officers and assistants
– Participate in team recruitment
– Understand, collect and analyze customer needs
– Monitor the budget of projects in support of the finance department
– Control the quality of deliverables (respect of deadlines, formats, compliance with customer expectations, etc.)
– Periodically prepare and consolidate the status of projects

Assistance in information analysis and decision making
– Develop project monitoring tables for reporting
– Prepare reporting meetings to the Executive Management
– Collect, organize, synthesize and analyze internal and external information (financial, operational, or other) intended for the Executive Management
– Analyze operations and/or activities and make recommendations for optimization to the Executive Management
– Develop, revise and/or examine any internal or external documentation relating to Executive Management projects
– Evaluate and assist in the resolution of any situation requiring research, analysis, and/or review of internal policies or procedures related to the execution of projects
– Lead technical team in identifying and developing proposals for new business opportunities

High-level representation
– Participate in seminars, conferences, or any other event on behalf of Niyel
– Represent Niyel to various institutions/authorities
– Participate in internal and external strategic meetings

Key Qualifications
– Master degree in International Development, Social Sciences, Human Services or related field
– 10 years of senior management and consulting experience
– Strong experience in program development and proven program development abilities
– Experience in leading strategic programming and planning, implementation, quality control, and learning

– Excellent aptitude for synthesis
– Good knowledge of written and oral expression, in French and English
– Good knowledge of computer and office tools
– Good knowledge of project management, steering and planning tools
