Natural Resource Governance Institute recruits 01 Africa Director

Natural Resource Governance Institute recruits 01 Africa Director

Job description

More than a billion worldwide people live in poverty in countries that produce oil, gas or minerals, many of them in sub-Saharan Africa. The global climate crisis creates new challenges for citizens of resource-rich African countries, who are facing some of the most severe effects of climate change on top of broader challenges of human development and energy poverty. The choices countries make today about the governance of their natural resources will have a major impact on the ability of their citizens to thrive in the future.

The Natural Resource Governance Institute, an independent, global policy analysis and advocacy institute, is committed to bringing cutting-edge evidence and ideas to the challenges facing countries rich in oil, gas and minerals – and their citizens.
