MSF is seeking a : Deputy Logistics Coordinator in charge of Watsan – NIGERIA M/F MSF OCP has been permanently present in Nigeria since 1996; today, we are running 5 projects with 1 reestablished country coordination team based in Abuja:
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES : Responsible for the correct implementation and monitoring of the overall Water Hygiene and Sanitation (Watsan) content of programmes in the country, according to universal health standards and MSF procedures, in order to ensure protection to the public health. In addition, the Deputy LogCo in charge of WatSan may propose and implement some activities not related to medical programs. In this case, such a watsan activity becomes a program by itself. The Deputy LogCo in charge of watsan will be based in Abuja with regular visit to the projects (Jahun, Port Harcourt, Borno projects, EPREP intervention locations) and others locations in order to orient and organize the activities, as well as follow the implementation of the essential requirements. Expériences / Formation du candidat | Education: University diploma in water-, civil- or environmental engineering
Experience: At least 2 years working experience in a WHS related field with an International NGO in a position of management is required. Previous MSF experience as a WatSan is an asset. Competencies:
