Key responsibilities

• Ensure the cleaning of all refrigerated containers.
• Maintain the cleaning equipment.
• Ensure the water tank is filled.
• Perform other tasks related to the activity as needed.
• Comply with labor regulations, relevant HSSEpolicies and procedures, terminal rules and procedures, and contribute to the continuous improvement process.
• Develop and maintain knowledge in relevant areas
• Work/Business Contacts and Authority:

Internfal

• Staff from other departments at various levels, primarily operations, for coordinating washed reefer containers.
• All staff in the technical division for specific information and scheduling tasks.
• The nature of the contact is primarily shared, although disagreements may arise; these will normally be addressed and resolved.

External Contact

The nature of the contact is primarily for giving and receiving information and, in most cases, will be for the achievement of a common goal.

Who we are looking for

Someone with:

• Requires a primary school diploma. Experience in the cleaning field.
• Requires at least one year of prior work experience in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to follow instructions, work under pressure, and maintain safety.
• Must have knowledge of safe handling rules and procedures for materials.
• Demonstrated ability to operate pressure washers.
• Ability to record washed containers in a log.
• Demonstrated ability to follow safe work procedures and safety and work instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to use safe materials and handling procedures.
