Maersk is looking to hire a Delivery Team Leader to join our team in Mali. The Delivery Team Leader will be responsible for dispatching work orders from booking systems to vendors for all modalities such as Rail, Truck, Barge etc. Liaising and preparing transport plan with supplier and using triangulation to optimize the planning while providing punctual service delivery of the role to the customer.   • Ownership of Intermodal in the country to deliver growth, profit and great customer satisfaction
  • Develop and execute cost savings plans in line with procurement logic to deliver a consistently deflationary cost profile while maintaining excellent standards of safety and reliability, including efficient planning and triangulation
  • Improve the asset utilization of key transport modes including contracted rail and truck networks
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with both established and new vendors
  • Liaising and preparing transport plan with suppliers and using triangulation to optimize planning
  • Drive improvements to customer satisfaction levels
  • Deliver improvements to key processes to improve productivity and service levels to get on time delivery and pro active notification to the customer
  • Empower the team to suggest alternate viable solutions and actively resolve customer complaints within stipulated timeframe
  • Drive process efficiency, improve complaint resolution timeliness, optimise by challenging business rules/limitations and improve end-to-end service delivery to customers

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor Degree
  • 3 Years of Commercial experience (CS/Sales/Marketing) in Logistic/Transportation industry.
