Opportunité
Identify and secure business opportunities and Projects across SWA both on sea and on land to support our Area Business Plan.
Proactively share market intelligence information which will help us to expand our coverage from an integrated logistics solution point of view
Promote Maersk brand image and maintain customers’ engagement through events and daily attendance
Responsibilities:
Commercial
Identify and Develop TBL volume with existing customers (Import & Export)
Sell our products to new customers mainly and existing ones when leads received from Sales account owners
All opportunities identified to be reported in Salesforce.com to support future business cases related to additional capacity acquisition in terms of warehouses, depot, or any other product in alignment with our strategic pillars
Own opportunities related to project Cargos ( mainly acquisition ) and focus on attracting new customers supporting the commercial strategies, financial results, and market share ambitions
Profit & Loss : In charge of generating Gross Profit on quarterly basis as per target which will be assigned
Operational excellence
Support our operational activities by sharing proactively information related to various files with Customer Experience Execution as per communication channels and template defined for that purpose
Ensure findings and escalations linked to limited capacity, operational challenges are reporting to Area Customer Experience Manager and Area Product Manager
General Management
Strict adherence to Maersk’s governance & compliance framework
Support for collection of outstanding invoices for customers flagged NMB and based in Yaounde in case business potential has been identified
Accountable for:
P&L, GP, EBIT
TBL Volume Growth
Market intelligence
Any investment projects across Southern West Africa Area
Additionally, we are looking for candidates who have:
a bachelor’s degree
a minimum of 5 years experience in a commercial function in industries such as mining, L&S, FMCG
certification in logistics; an added advantage
excellent communication and writing skills in French & English, Chinese is an added advantage
a commercial mindset with an eye for detail
ability to multitask and perform effectively in an area with high uncertainty and ambiguity.

understanding of and well-developed skills in identifying and maturing business opportunities and building relationships
