We offerYou will have the responsibility for allservice delivery and governancerelated to Payroll, Time &Attendance. In collaboration with theLocal Payroll team and our Vendorsyou will ensure consistent Payroll,Time & Attendance delivery and analigned employee experience.While directly reporting to theregional Head of payroll and time andattendance delivery, you will bebased in Tangier and have closecollaboration with stakeholders andcontributors across the business.Your priority in this role will beensuring a timely and smoothdelivery of Payroll processes,corresponding to the current servicedelivery model with external Payrollproviders.You will also lead the transition ofPayroll as we go live with Workday.To achieve this, you will collaborateclosely with the RegionalImplementation Manager, theEmployee Experience team drivingthe local roll-out as well as externalpayroll providers.
Key responsibilitiesThe purpose of he role is to supportthe regional payroll organisation,working with a matrixed group ofstakeholders and vendors to ensuregreat employee experience andregulatory compliance from a payrolldelivery perspectiveKey responsibilities:Manage a team of payroll specialistsLead a team of ‘Payroll specialists’and administrators to translate theregional goals and service delivery -deliver high quality and on-timeoutputs in relation to Payroll, Timeand Attendance in order to enable agreat employee experienceManage the payroll delivery toexacting global standards andbusiness specific needsTranslate the governance structureby defining and executing the rightpayroll metrics at the country andlegal entity levelImplement the agreed model toidentify, report, mitigate and trackrisks in the payroll delivery processAct as the anchor point for manage‘Audits’ – both internal & externalManage the timely submission ofRICC controlsMonitor performance metrics andidentify patterns. In case ofunderperformsnce, help fix the issueworking with the respective payrollspecialist.Bring to the fore any improvementinitiatives for global considerationand vindication.Act as sparring partner to ‘peopleadvisors and reward delivery teamsDrive the engement agenda with therespective teams
We are looking forYou are highly driven, enjoy working ata fast pace, dealing with change and atouch of uncertainty. To managecomplexity, you employ a structuredapproach and have strong focus ondriving consistency and alignment.
As for the skillset and experience, weare looking for:• Minimum 3-5 years of experiencemanaging a team of payroll specialistspreferably in an internationalorganization• Deep understanding on legal payrollrequirements and personaladministration processes in the region• Actively discuss and implement riskmitigation strategies• Be a natural leader and passionateabout driving team engagement andchange• Excellent stakeholder managementskills and a natural trustworthypresence towards business leaders andstakeholders• External Vendor management skillsand ability to govern payroll processesby metrics• A process and continuousimprovement mindset who takes pridein delivering high quality and efficientPayroll services• Collaborative work style, fosteringcooperation and teamwork to achieveresults• Customer-centric putting employeeexperience at the center• Workday experience is preferred• Low tolerance for delays anddeviations.
