Opportunité
As a Financial Analyst, you will be expected to understand the business and work with different the functions. The role offers an opportunity to be a trusted business partner for the Area, and Product teams, assuring that the drivers and levers for achieving the business targets are well understood and applied appropriately.
The Analyst will hold responsibility for a portfolio of Logistics Products and partner with the Areas management and product teams on performance management for full product P&L, sales pipeline management, resource requirements and business case activities. You will also have to identify risks and opportunities for the business and provide insights to the different stakeholders.
Rolling Forecast
Own the process for Area, ensuring timeline and task distribution to Area, across Products and brands
Ensure strategic initiatives are included in forecasts for the relevant Product with a meaningful link between growth and resource requirements
Consolidate and review forecasts per Product to ensure a coherent story for Europe as a Region
Maintain and develop new reporting capabilities to be utilized on Area level
Gap analysis with budget and forecast
Business Partnering
Working together with Finance Business Partner and Product team on driving the performance of different product.
Work with other functions to improve reporting accuracy and ensure a fair representation of underlying business performance
Establish outlook across key metric (Revenue, Gross Profit, EBITDA & EBIT) per product to steer the future decision making
Using data from different source to create insights regarding profitability and operation efficiency
Trend analysis utilizing weekly and monthly data from various data source
Short term and long-term forecast with clear assumptions
Support development and review of strategic initiatives
Cost effectiveness
Drive cost to serve analysis providing relevant data and insights to improve efficiency and support growth ambitions.
Provide input and analysis where required for budget planning
Required experience, skills and competencies
Financial acumen (master’s degree in Finance or equivalent)
Experience from working as an analyst, or from similar roles acting as an advisor towards management and/or business stakeholders.
Partnering mindset – effective stakeholder management skills and able to build effective trusted relationships, connecting with stakeholders/teams in the organization
Self-starter – able to manage the regular deliverables with the ad hoc and to identify where to invest more time for the better outcome – without requiring step by step guidance
Solves complexity based on accurate identification of underlying factors/causes and is aware of the impact of proposed solutions outside their own immediate area.
