The Depot Delivery Manager is a leader having full responsibility, including cost ownership, service responsibility and management of all the operational assets of the site under his responsibility, in order to deliver operations in a safe, cost effective and compliant manner.
He/She will be in charge to provide the leadership and direction for the complete depot and Stevedoring activities, ensure the highest productivity in the depot and provides excellent service to all customers using the Site while maintaining a cost-efficient operation.
The Depot Delivery Manager is the Leader of the depot management team and has a direct influence on the further growth and development of the Site, he/she provides input for effective strategies for operating the depot within existing opportunities and constraints.

Key responsibilities
-Ensures a cost-efficient operation on top of current best practices.
-Establishes and implements current and long-range goals, objectives, plans and policies of depot operations and expansions.
-Leading role in selection, negotiation and finalization of agreements with suppliers & customers.
-Responsible for execution and maintenance of service Level as appropriate.
-Provides a working strategy to the IT function, supports and contributes to development in technology & systems as applicable to improve efficiencies in cost, productivity & customer service.
-Participates as a key member of any steering committee for new projects, initiatives, and plays a leading role in defining project management strategies. Is responsible for timely deliverables of project plans.
-Ensures compliance with HSSE policies & procedures to promote safe working practices and ensure lost time injuries are kept to a minimum.
-Assist when necessary in establishing or reviewing customs and other external procedures affecting depot users.
-Measures and monitors performance against critical criteria, policy and guidelines established by the company and communicates operational results to the organization (periodically).
We are looking for
-Minimum 3-5 years in operations management roles in container terminals and/or depots including handling negotiations with third parties.
-Proven management experience from the terminal or shipping industry or alternatively related industry within transport or supply chain management.
-Proven experience in cost and productivity optimization (through process optimization) as well as design and implementation of new operation procedures.
-Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
-Good communication skills including the ability to communicate across the organization.
-Excellent analytical skills.
-Fluent in English and French (preferred).
-Ability to provide leadership, obtain cooperation and promote a team environment to meet objectives.
