We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with preferable experience in Customer Service to join our Maersk Mozambique Team.
In this role, you are expected to own/manage the customer experience including managing the shipment process in compliance with all company procedures and being the owner of all customer issues. You will facilitate their timely and effective resolution by engaging with the relevant internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
You will be Responsible for the Customer experience through the resolution of Import related queries and effective handling of the longstanding process for countries within the Hinterland and Mozambique; limiting penalties and loss of revenue whilst fully adhering to the global processes
Therefore you will be expected to:
– Maximize incentives by owning customer issues to increase shipments
– Identify potential longstanding containers and conduct the required follow up’s with internal and external stakeholders, as per the SOPs
– Handle issue resolution related to longstanding containers (queries, disputes, re-export)
– Engage with the local authorities to ensure the containers are auctioned or destroyed when approved
– Assist with validation required for annual verification of longstanding containers
– Continuously serve as a focal for our e-commerce capabilities and new products with customers.
We are looking for

– Previous experience/qualification in shipping/logistics – we very much welcome Graduates to apply

– Strong interpersonal and communication skills
– Customer focused and proactive attitude
– Fluency in English
