KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop business in target verticals
Research prospective markets and accounts in targeted verticals.
Identify, qualify, consult and develop value propositions enabling the sale of large scale and complex supply chain solutions within a defined vertical industry(ies) in collaboration with the Solutions Design Team.
Handle and negotiate the RFQs and tenders.
Ensure successful implementation and Process compliance of the won opportunities.
Leverage the area setup and build a strong portfolio of area accounts
Pre and Post-Sales Responsibilities
Build a strong opportunity team and drive engagement around proper solutions’ building and winning.
Ensure that solutions are fully scoped with robust pre- and post-sales engagement and commitment from Solutions engineering, Pricing, and Execution teams.
Ensure that customers meet committed levels of GP and proactively address short-falls.
Ensure the smooth transition to regular Account Manager.
Commercial footprint expansion
Represent Maersk in the relevant Industry, Vertical, and Marketing events.
Identify and share customer strategies with relevant Product managers to ensure product development is aligned with changing customer needs.

Logistics knowledge – including process insights
Influencing and persuasive selling skills
Proven track record in a matrix, multi-cultural organization, building strong relationships and networks both locally and internationally
Project management skills
Very good knowledge of the North West Africa Market
