Job Description
PATH is an international non-profit organization working in the health field with the mission to improve people’s health around the world through the promotion of innovative technology, strengthening systems and encouraging healthy behaviors. Path is currently present in more than 70 countries. Since 2001, Path works alongside the Senegalese government and its partners to provide solutions towards the country’s health challenges.

PATH, in collaboration with ASBEF, implements a project to improve provider-client interactions in reproductive health. One of the project’s activities consists on improving and implementing a training program on the provider-client communication, then evaluating its effectiveness. For this purpose, PATH is looking for two nurses/midwives who will work under the supervision of the Project Manager at PATH. Their role will be to collect data at ASBEFclinics in Louga and Saint-Louis in accordance with the research procedure described in the protocol.

Responsibilities:

Collect and record details of various counselling between health providers in clinics and clients.
Report data recorded according to specific methodology.
Collect feedback from health providers in clinics about counselling experience and save data in paper or electronic format, manage those data with a high level of security and confidentiality and regularly communicate them to the Project Manager;
In charge of study and data collection incident management.

Required Experience
Required Skills

Fluency in Wolof and French
Ability to conduct interviews and to collect quantitative and qualitative data
Ability to respect privacy of study participants
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Availability to live close by clinics during both of data collect periods
IT skills: Email, Word

Required Experience

Nurse or midwife degree
Experience in providing family planning services
