Background The Roving Supply Chain & Logistics Manager role(s) is a key versatile member of the Global Supply Chain & Logistics function. The role holder will be expected to play a key leadership role in tactical deployments, in emergency responses as well as in steady state humanitarian programs. The role holder will also support capacity building and functional performance improvement initiatives in assigned region/countries as part of regional supply chain strategy deployment. Job Purpose This position is expected to be a feeder role to identify and develop capacity to transition to senior roles within the organization. The career pathways from this role includes Country head of Logistics & Supply chain roles, Regional Logistics Coordinator roles & functional specialist roles. The position will report to a senior manager in the Global Supply Chain & Logistics function. The role holder will be expected to be flexible to deploy 100% as required to IMC country programs (expected deployment of approx. 80-90%). The position is being advertised to build a talent pool of suitable candidates to fill future vacancies.
