IBM was a sponsor of this year’s AfriLabs Annual Gathering that took place in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and during the Gathering they hosted a workshop focused on the Digital Nation Africa (D-NA) program. Participants (hub managers, entrepreneurs and developers) got to learn about the programme and how it could benefit them.
The IBM Digital Nation Africa (D – NA) programme is supporting African youth to gear up for a smart world through education, empowerment and employment. aims to IBM’s D-NA programme provides free access to tools that provide digital skills to users free of charge.
The D – NA cloud-based learning and enablement, provides digital competency and nurtures innovation in Africa. The platform communicates with the user to build a profile, gives an overview of the current job market and suggests multiple learning paths: Explorer, Innovator and New Collar. paths.
