HumaniTerra International (HTI) is a French non-governmental, non-profit, non-political and non-religious international aid organization, specialized in surgical care and maternal health programs. HTI has been cooperating and supporting Bangladeshi population since 2004.

Early 2018 HTI started its partnership with HOPE Foundation, a local NGO specialized in maternal health care. This strong collaboration aims at alleviate the sufferings of local communities of Cox’s Bazar district and Rohingya population.

 

As part of our cooperation in Bangladesh, we are looking for an Administrative and Financial Manager. Under the direct supervision of the Head of Mission, the Logistic Administrator is responsible for managing the logistic department, the administration and finance department in order to support the implementation of the program activities.

 

This recruitment is managed by HUMANITERRA HQ

 

  1. Keys responsibilities:

 

 

Administrator

 

– Financial, budgetary and accounting management: S/he is responsible for all aspects relating to finance, including budgetary and accounting elements, as well as the mission cash flow.

– Management of human resources: S/he is responsible for the administrative management of the local and international teams, for the definition/updating of procedures and HR management tools in accordance with labor regulations in Bangladesh, HTI HR policies, and donor’s regulations

– Administrative and legal management: S/he supervises administrative records and guarantees that the status and functioning of the mission are in legal accordance with the requirements of the intervention country.

– Reporting: S/he centralizes and disseminates information within the mission and to headquarters for all financial, administrative, legal and human resources aspects of the mission.

– Capacity Building: He/she ensures the capacity building of the department staff.

 

 

Logistic Manager

 

– Supply chain: He/she is responsible of the good management and documentation of all the supply chain activities at bases level in order to provide the means for programs implementation on a timely basis, and in compliance with donor’s regulation HTI procedures

– Fleet: He/she is responsible for the good management of the fleet activities in compliance with donor’s regulation HTI procedures

– Assets and premises: He/she is responsible of the good management of all the equipment and premises in compliance with HTI procedures and donors’ guidelines

– Security and safety: He/she participates to the elaboration and implementation of HTI security and safety plan and guidelines in close collaboration with the Country Coordinator.

– Reporting: He/she is responsible for the use of all reporting tools, archive information and disseminate it in compliance with HTI procedures and donors’ guidelines.

– Capacity Building: He/she ensures the capacity building of the logistics team.

 

 

  1. Reporting

 

  • Report on weekly basis your logistic-admin activity to the Head of Mission and the HQ
  • Report on monthly basis your administrative and financial activities to the HQ Administrative and Financial Coordinator

 

  1. Qualifications and experience required:

 

Education:

  • Master’s Degree in business or Public administration or accounting or related field
  • Training in Logistics in BIOFORCE or experience within a NGO would be an assets (BIOFORCE,…)
  • Education in international relations, political science, development studies, social sciences or related field are appreciated

 

Experience :

 

  • 1-5 years proven experience in a similar position required, preferable in INGO
  • Proven experience in team management
  • Proven experience in training & capacity building;

 

Skills and knowledge :

 

  • Knowledge in Administrative, HR and Financial management
  • Knowledge in Logistics and Security management
  • Ability to build capacity within the team
  • Good analytical and reporting skills
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural environment
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (listening and empathy skills)
  • Ability to adapt, manage priorities and be pragmatic
  • Rigor and integrity. Diplomacy
  • Commitment to humanitarian principles

 

Computer skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet.

 

Languages: English/French

  • English: fluent (read, spoken & written)
  • Bangla : would be an asset
