ENGIE is pleased to announce the Gold Wind Farm Community Grants Program.
Categories
- All funding applications must satisfy one of the following:
- Enhance of promote tourism, arts or culture in the local community;
- Promote sustainability or enhance the local environment;
- Contribute to or improve education and training in the local community; or
- Contribute to or improve socio-economic conditions or local need in the community.
- In order to satisfy one of the categories above, the project, event or initiative must directly benefit the local community by:
- Improving the wellbeing of citizens;
- Enhancing existing programs or initiatives;
- Increasing or improving community access to services;
- Promoting or preserving local culture, environment or attractions; or
- Encourage visitors to the area.
Funding Information
- The Hills of Gold Wind Farm Community Grants Program will provide a total of $20,000 in available funding to locally run events or community initiatives. Funding allocations will be one-off cash contributions, capped at a maximum of $5,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- The eligible target community for the sponsorship program includes:
- Community groups, projects/programs or facilities (Not for Profit) that are located within or provide a direct benefit to the community within a 20km radius of the Project.
- Other considerations include:
- The funding must be used within 12-months of official notification of funding.
- Applicants can only submit one application for funding per organisation.
- Successful applicants can only receive funding once during The Hills of Gold Wind Farm Community Grants Program.
- All applications must be submitted on the relevant application form.
- Applications will not be accepted after the closing date.
Ineligibility Criteria
- Ineligible projects and applicants:
- Projects which are funded, operated and/or the responsibility of Federal, State, or Local Government cannot be funded through the Program, including any proposals to deliver or replace core government department services. For example: educational or training services to children, youth or adults, undertaking works or upgrades to facilities normally funded by the Government. Exclusions apply to schools and may apply to shared facilities or resources.
- ENGIE reserves the right to withdraw the grant allocation if an organisation has been found to be involved with illegal activities or fail to adhere to ENGIE’s policies.
- Any incomplete, unsigned applications or applications submitted after the closing date will not be accepted by ENGIE.
- ENGIE will not fund third-party, political fund-raising activities, events that are illegal in nature, overtly religious to the exclusion of others, payment of existing debts, or activities and events whereby a solitary individual derives benefit.
