Your missions as a Network Engineer at Baobab
Under the guidance of the Head of Infrastructure and Operations, you are responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing and designing communication networks.

Under the guidance of the Head of Infrastructure and Operations, you are responsible for securing group cloud and LAN/WAN networks
Resolves issues within the LAN/WAN environments.
Analyzes the performance of assigned systems and applications, taking action to correct deficiencies
Maintains and provides support on interconnectivity between Dakar and International locations
Reviews and performs network security scans on a weekly basis
Reviews and updates network infrastructure equipment
Responsible for deployment, configuration, maintenance, and support of GLI networking equipment and systems
Assists with the installation of LAN / WAN equipment infrastructure

Conducts LAN/WAN analysis to ensure optimal performance of the network, including monthly utilization reports
Sustains the integrity and 24/7 availability of all network data through backup monitoring.

Performs other duties as assigned
Job requirements
Graduated from a bachelor degree of computer science, you have a minimum of 5 years experience, specially within design and support of a Cisco network with local and wide area segments. CCNP & CCNA preferred.

Experience with AWS, LAN/WAN network engineering (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless and IP protocols).
Knowledge, configuration and management of dynamic routing protocols (TCP/IP, etc.)
Sense of responsibilities, autonomy and sense of initiatives
Must be fluent in French and English
