Grants to support Community-led Initiatives and Organizations in Costa Rica

Harmony Projects is pleased to announce the Harmony Fund 2023 Community Grant Program to support community-led initiatives and organizations that work to build Nosara’s capacity to address challenges and identify opportunities for growth, while protecting the unique and beautiful aspects of the community and region.

This small grants program represents Harmony Projects’ commitment to being a social enterprise that helps the whole community thrive.

Funding Information

• First time applicants can apply for up to $1000, while organizations that have already successfully implemented funded projects can apply for up to $2000.

Eligibility Criteria

• Only legally established Costa Rican nonprofit organizations with an account in a Costa Rica Bank may apply.
• The proposed initiative should be a legitimate charitable cause and benefit the District of Nosara.
• The initiative should be able to be successfully implemented within 12 months of the award.
• The selection process will favor proposals which combine the efforts of 2 or more organizations.
• Grantees will be required to submit a report detailing how funds were spent and the results achieved.
